This is what I was listening to a moment ago. This was and still is a very powerful song. The chorus alone is powerful. “I am due for a miracle, I’m waiting for a sign. I’ll stare straight into the sun, and I won’t close my eyes till I understand or go blind.”

Its my theory that Dustin found or received a miracle. Now, indulge me a little bit, and go listen to the song “Words in the Water” (also by Thrice). Look here at what he says, “Then with water in my eyes the words began to rise from their place. They were beautiful and dread, I reached for them and fed on each phrase. They were honey on my lips, then a bitter twist in my side. I knew they’d lay me in my grave
“Is there no one who could save me? ” I cried.”

This was the beginning of a revelation to Dustin. And this was his miracle that he had been searching for. I’m sure we all know what book he was talking about…

Indulge me further, please, and lets continue in the Words in the Water.

He continues in the last verse of the song to say, “And when I lost all hope to look
Someone took that heavy book from my hands. All it’s weight they set aside after they had satisfied it’s demands. I felt white and black reverse and the lifting of a curse from my heart. Then like one receiving sight, I beheld a brilliant light in the dark.”

I don’t know if you or anyone else can see the significance in the words written here, but I assure you that it is. This, to me, was a description of a turning point in his life. And his eyes were opened, and he realized the truth.

Amazing right?
